Beatniks unite!  Trumpeter Mark Tipton leads a Jazz Quintet to play the early works of Charlie “Bird” Parker and John Birks “Dizzy” Gillespie.  Tunes like “Anthropology,” “Donna Lee,” and “Confirmation” will be heard, as well as more obscure tunes like “Cardboard” and “Dewey Square.”  This dynamic Quintet includes: Matt Langley on Alto Sax, Jesse Feinberg on Piano, Chris Sprague on Bass, and Hayes Porterfield on Drums.
