Join the Mark Tipton Quartet in beautiful Surry, Maine for this exclusive 2-set concert at Surry Arts. Featuring new original jazz tunes, classic jazz songs, and a taste of Haitian Creole Jazz Fusion! Works will include small group arrangements of tunes from Mark’s upcoming release Vernacular Stretch, plus tunes written especially for this quartet!

Mehmet Alí Sanlikol Quintet Tour of Turkey & Cyprus

Mark joins the brilliant instrumentalist/vocalist Mehmet Alí Sanlikol and his jazz quintet for a tour or Turkey and Cyprus, playing at the following Jazz Festivals:

Cyprus Festival: July 7

Denizli Festival: July 10

Urla Festival: July 13

Istanbul Jazz Festival: July 16

Bursa Festival: July 18

The tour will feature Sanlikol’s nuanced original compositions, which incorporate Turkish Makam, blues, Jazz Fusion, and more.

Mark Tipton Quartet at Grand Lake Stream Folk Art Festival

Join Mark and his jazz quartet for a fun, family-friendly set at the Grand Lake Stream Folk Art Festival in Grand Lake Stream, Maine. Mark has performed many times at this festival since it started in 1995, and he is very happy to bring his Boston-based quartet up to Washington County, Maine to play again for the good folks at the festival!

Expect an eclectic set that includes original & classic jazz, jazz versions of folk tunes, and a surprise or two! Set time is TBD / we’ll play rain or shine!
